A Call for Testimonials and Upcoming Events
Thanks to so many who lent creative expertise and insight, we’ve arrived at an official logo and color scheme for Everyday Wellbeing. We are are committed to expanding our offerings and professionalizing every aspect of the organization as we grow.
The March Visioning Event generated energy and enthusiasm to launch our first official fund-raising campaign to raise the money needed to hire a half-time executive director and more fully develop the organization we dream of. That is, one with the ability to offer free, donation-based programming all day, every day to all sectors of our community.
We plan to launch the campaign on May 1st. In the meantime, we want to capture the reasons why Everyday Wellbeing receives the blessing of your support.
How do our core values of health, connection, curiosity, inclusion, and access resonate with your values?
How do our current programs and offerings inspire your generosity?
How do our mission and vision move you to want to be involved and invested in our shared future?
What else might motivate your care for what we do and how we do it?
Help us build a compelling campaign.
Continue reading for more information about upcoming events that include a nature walk, a yoga block workshop, a dance event with The Monday Project, and a talk with Dr. Amy Rothenberg about thriving after cancer treatment. As always, there is information about our daily (yoga and meditation) and weekly (qigong) offerings.
Thank you for being a part of Everyday Wellbeing!

Learn to Use Yoga Blocks with Tiffany Joseph
Sunday, April 13, 2025
Noon - 1:00 PM
Munson Library
1046 South East Street, Amherst
Yoga blocks are dense rectangular props used to make yoga poses more accessible or challenging. They can be used to support the body, improve alignment, and enhance muscle engagement during a yoga practice. Blocks can be used to create more space in a pose by allowing you to rest your hands or other body parts on them. They can be used to create resistance or provide support for the back, hips, and head, allowing you to relax more deeply into a pose and improve alignment. Blocks can be used to stabilize poses and improve balance, especially in standing or balancing poses. They can also help prevent injury by providing support and preventing misalignment in certain poses.
Join long-time yoga teacher and dance instructor, Tiffany Joseph in this one-hour class designed to teach you how to make the most of your yoga block. No experience necessary. All ages are welcome.
Bring your own blocks if you have them. There will be a limited number to borrow, but please register below so we'll be sure to have enough for everyone.

How Everyday Wellbeing Works
There is no charge for any of our offerings. All of our teachers and providers donate their services, time, and expertise and receive only the money deposited into the donation box (or sent to their personal Venmo). We all gratefully appreciate this expression of appreciation, AND donations are never expected.
It is important and central to the mission of Everyday Wellbeing that all events are free and open. Everyone is welcome regardless of their ability to donate.
Support Our Work
If you have the means, a donation to Everyday Wellbeing moves us toward improved wellbeing by supporting our mission to make vibrant health accessible to all by offering free, donation-based classes, workshops, and events.
We are building capacity to receive donations in multiple ways, but right now you can make a donation via Venmo @everydaywellbeingMA, or by mailing a check to Everyday Wellbeing to 5 Edgewood Terrace, Hadley MA 01035.
Every donation supports our mission to empower people to live their healthiest lives. Every dollar is tax-deductible and allows us to offer a wider variety of programming to reach more people.
We acknowledge your donations by email. If you don’t receive a heartfelt thank you, please check your junk folder for an email from everydaywellbeing4U@gmail.com. Then move it to your primary inbox so you never miss an update. Thank you!
And, as Usual…
Everyday Wellbeing is here for you. Yoga happens everyday 8:00 - 9:00 AM at the Munson Library in South Amherst until early June when we will move back outside at Andrew’s Greenhouse (for our 10th year)!
A silent period of Meditation Practice also happens every day 9:10-9:30 AM right after yoga. Come enjoy 20 minutes of sitting-in-silence in good company. No experience necessary. All you need is a desire to notice the mind at work and give it an opportunity to rest a bit.
Qigong happens every Saturday 9:15-10:00 AM. Again, no experience is necessary. Those new to Qigong are always welcome to learn this gentle, standing, meditative practice to balance and cultivate life force energy. This all important measure of vitality is called prana in yogic practices and Qi in Chinese disciplines. No matter what we call it, you’ll notice a difference in your energy all day long!
