Clear, crisp colors are on the way

Sep 13, 2026

It’s been a beautiful summer, and although these shortening days are still stunning, many of us are settling back into our fall routines.

Yoga Outside continues to offer yoga every morning at 8 AM at Andrews Greenhouse through the end of September.

Beginning October 1, Everyday Wellbeing will be back at the Munson Library, with daily 8 AM yoga throughout the fall and winter.

Zumba continues to turn up the heat on Wednesdays at 6 PM at Groff Park.

Qigong smooths our energy flow on Saturdays at 9 AM at the Munson Library.

For those of you who like a little hiking with your yoga, join Tiffany Joseph for Mountain Top Yoga on September 20th 4:00 PM.

And if you’re looking for an opportunity to revitalize your energetic system, check out this seasonal offering from Alexa de los Reyes:

Clear, Protect, Revitalize: Energy Hygiene for Back to School

Move through this season with ease, comfort, and clear energy boundaries.

Sunday September 20, 11 am - 12:30 pm

This time of year can be particularly challenging as the season changes, schedules shift, and many of us transition to spending more time indoors. Our systems have to contend with a thicker stew of demands, energy, and emotions.

You might notice the effects of “energetic detritus” in yourself and those around you:

  • overwhelm

  • crankiness

  • emotional swings

  • over-stimulation

  • moodiness

  • fatigue

  • uneven energy

We understand that practices like hand-washing are important for physical health, but attending to “energy hygiene” can work wonders for our overall well-being.

Enjoy one or all of these opportunities to attend to your own wellbeing. Thank you for being an important part of this community!

Saturday Qigong 9:00-10:00 AM

Saturdays 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM (Start time shifts to 9:15 AM in October)

Munson Library, 1046 South East Street, Amherst

Qigong practice begins with three gongs of the singing bowl, a reminder of the three treasures: the body, the breath, and the mind. We center ourselves to activate the relaxation response, the organs, and the meridians. From here, gentle movements warm us up for our main practice, a playful series of movements coordinated with the breath. We end with the healing power of self-applied massage and standing meditation to activate the immune system for healing and an overall sense of well being. During the summer heat, we may practice outside in the shade.

Receive an email reminder about each class by joining the Qigong list below.

Evening Zumba w/ Tiffany Wednesdays 6 PM
