About the event
Begin your day with presence, breath, and movement as you attune to the wisdom of your body and the stillness within. We’ll start with a few quiet moments to arrive, ground, and connect to breath, then move into a fluid sequence to awaken awareness and cultivate inner calm. We’ll close with time for intuitive movement or stillness, followed by a restful savasana to absorb the practice.
As with all yoga classes, the invitation is ALWAYS to tune into your body’s needs in the moment. You are encouraged to move at your own pace, pause when needed, or adapt the practice to honor how you’re feeling. Yoga is an invitation to listen inward, moment by moment, with curiosity, compassion, and care.
Although this class includes clear guidance in movement, alignment, and breath, it is not about performance or striving. It’s about showing up as you are, remembering your wholeness, and letting each breath carry you closer to yourself. The intention is for the practice to leave you more awake and alive in your body, calm and clear in your mind, and open and connected in your heart.

Yoga arrived in Linda's life via Runner's World magazine in 1978 while she was still in high school. The article promised improved strength, flexibility, and injury prevention so she tried a handful of postures (warrior, triangle, cobra, downward dog, and child pose) and immediately felt calmer, more centered, and alive.
Linda studied exercise science in college and graduate school, worked as a personal trainer, a wellness/fitness director, and field hockey and lacrosse coach before transitioning to the classroom as a high school science teacher and elementary classroom teacher.
She was certified as a Kripalu Yoga Instructor in 1991 and continues her study of yoga with many teachers, including Patty Townsend and Onatah Stoll. Her personal practice has evolved over the years and now includes daily meditation, pranayama, and asana. She values every opportunity to practice yoga on and off the mat.
Her classes are moving meditations designed to build strength, flexibility, mobility, and balance with the aim of guiding you to your own deep well of gratitude, compassion, and self-acceptance.
